German premium carmaker Mercedes-Benz’s plan for a new regional after-sales logistic centre in Senai Airport City, Johor will span approximately 1 million sq.ft. The car manufacturer’s aim for this new infrastructure was for both customers and dealer networks to enjoy good service and high-quality standards.
KNAUF Ceiling Armstrong Optra FG soft fibre ceiling tiles and Prelude XL 32 Suspension Grid were used for the centre’s office space ceiling tiles. KNAUF Ceiling Armstrong Metalworks Clip-in ceiling tiles were used for the toilet areas.
Optra FG ceiling tiles offer great acoustic performance for open plan office space, reducing ambient noise with high sound absorption performance. The high light reflectance of the white tiles are also highly suitable for a functional office space. For the toilet area, Metalworks Clip-in ceiling tiles are concealed suspension grid that offer a sleek monolithic appearance. These tiles are washable and durable, with good scratch resistance properties. Overall, this is an easy to maintain ceiling solution that also offers 100% downward accessibility with panel removal.
